"My partner and I stopped in to get something to take home for lunch. We ordered the Oyako (Chicken and Egg in Sweet Dashi Sauce) and Shoyu Ramen with Chashu Pork. The dishes were very fresh, hot and melted in your mouth with every bite. It's not often we come across Ramen and Donburi to this degree. The service was very welcoming with a greeting upon arrival and departing once we had obtained our meals. Well done Hachi Hachi Staff absolutely perfect experience. Keep up the great work"

"Open airy small restaurant. No bar service but a nice range of cold beverages. Seating was fairly basic but comfortable. Food service was prompt and the food was very good. Happy to recommend this dining experience."

"My Japanese wife and I keep going back here, we try other places now and again but they can’t compare. She says it’s authentic, just the same as you can get in Japan. For myself, I like going to hachi hachi because I like the real unprocessed meat that they cook just right and fresh veges and salad"

"Friendly service, orders taken quickly. Great menu. Started with takoyaki and chicken nambun. Nambun delicious. Takoyaki still cold inside. Next was tonkotsu and ten don. Both dishes delicious. Drinks were green tea and miso."
